The senior school fully achieves its aims to develop the academic ability of able girls...

ISI Inspection February 2013

We are fully committed to helping our students develop a broad range of interests and provide plenty of opportunity for them to do that. This year, our extra-curricular programme is more extensive than ever. Your daughter may want to edit a magazine, enter public speaking competitions, arrange a fashion show, perform in a play, choir or concert, run a 10-kilometre race, make short films, climb the Avon Gorge, help build a school in Cambodia, start a charity, join a book group, or run academic lectures for her peers. She may even want to start a club of her own – and we are on hand to help her do it. The strong culture we have at Red Maids’ of taking part, and having a go, is something we know parents value.

Aside from all the sport and music, things to get involved in include:

Amnesty International Art Club
Book Groups  Chatterbox (Year 7)
Chess Current Affairs
Discovery Club  Drama
Duke of Edinburgh  Film Production Club
Growing Club  History Club
