We explore deep philosophical and ethical questions and challenge our students to be open-minded about the beliefs and practices of people from vastly different cultural backgrounds.
Thought, debate and original thinking are stimulated by any means necessary, including the use of film, music, ICT, group work and role play.
We take students out of the classroom to visit local places of worship and invite speakers to school to talk about their personal faiths and beliefs.
Religious Studies is compulsory in Years 7 to 9 and an optional GCSE in Years 10 and 11.
